Biography
Vashti was admitted to practice in 2000 and joined Coleman
& Greig in 2001. Now working in the Commercial Advice
team, Vashti has also gained valuable experience working
in other fields of law including property, insurance
and public liability litigation and advice.
In her present role, Vashti
has acted for:
- The vendors of businesses
in the sale of their companies to publicly listed
companies, including the due diligence process, negotiations
and drafting of documentation;
- Vendors and purchasers in
negotiating sale of business contracts, employment
contracts, consultancy agreements, amendments to leases
and related matters;
- Various bus companies in
structuring their affairs and negotiations with the
State Government;
- A range of family businesses
in preparing succession plans and Shareholders Agreements;
- A wide variety of clients
ranging from CEOs and business proprietors to personal
services clients in the preparation of estate plans,
testamentary trusts, Powers of Attorney and wills.
