Biography
Rebecca Hegarty joined Coleman & Greig in 2007 as a senior lawyer within our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
Since her admission as a solicitor in 1989, Rebecca has acquired a depth of knowledge and experience in debt recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency. Prior to joining C&G she represented mercantile agencies such as Dun & Bradstreet as well as numerous well-known corporate entities. She also managed the Debt Recovery teams for a number of law firms in western Sydney.
At Coleman & Greig, Rebecca manages the firm’s specialist debt recovery service “C&G Collect”. She brings a strong commercial outlook to all matters she undertakes, whether small or complex litigation, and prides herself on the number of matters she has settled and concluded to the happy satisfaction of clients.
Her preparation and conduct of “Plain English” training seminars and papers in all aspects of credit management, allows Rebecca to ensure clients and staff are kept up to date and well informed.
In addition to her legal qualifications, Rebecca has also completed a Commercial Mediation course through the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre.
